Artist Statement 

My work is a self-taught exploration of abstract surrealism, shaped by influences of futurism and technology. With a unique personal language, it depicts a fantastical, dreamlike world shaped by the spirit of innovation, imagination, and humanity’s advancing technological revolution.

Against black, indigo, and often ethereal backgrounds, the work unfolds as an organized array of vivid, abstract, hard-edged geometric and biomorphic forms. A graphic mix of diverse elements intersects physical and virtual realities. Through sleek lines, luminous color, and techno-patterned space, the work evokes the seductive allure of modern technology. My work conveys a futuristic, aerodynamic alchemy between inanimate and living forms, echoing the accelerating convergence of biological and mechanical systems that increasingly shapes our present-day lives.

Underlying the formal and conceptual aspects of the work is a psychological realm of open-ended ambiguity and dialogue between diverse and unusual forms. Shaped by my longstanding fascination with microbiology, architecture, and science fiction, much of my imagery emerges through automatic drawings that ignite a passion for pushing visual boundaries toward new ideas and invention. The resulting forms often suggest an interplay between the organic and the technological. Through the viewer’s interpretation, the imagery may subconsciously evoke scientific instruments, microscopic organisms, humanoid characters, or imagined technologies of an unfolding future. The work may also invite comparisons to the playful biomorphism of Joan Miró’s Harlequin’s Carnival, the dreamlike forms and atmospheres of Yves Tanguy, or the animated visual language of Takashi Murakami.

Together, the elements in my work construct a surreal world that engages the viewer’s imagination while reflecting both the promise and the uncertainty of a brave new technological future.
